Men's Ministries

"Deep in his heart, every man wants to be a part of a team that does something great. Just look at the movies men adore. A team comes together to save the world, steal the money, or win the championship. The Lord of the Rings, X-Men, The Matrix, Saving Private Ryan, Oceans Eleven, Remember The Titans… feature a band of brothers who attempt the dangerous, the outrageous, the impossible. Each member of the team has a specialty and makes a vital contribution. A band of brothers. Though he may not realize it, every man longs to be a part of one.”

The Men's Ministry at Oil City AG  offers plenty of opportunities to get you connected!  To facilitate growth in your marriage, with your kids, and with your relationship with God.

Women's Ministries

We exist to provide ways that women of God can come together and get connected in Christ through common activities and events. We have gone to overnight conferences, been through weekly Bible studies, enjoyed fun times together including jewelry parties, movie nights, shopping, etc., as well as experienced one-on-one time for building relationships. If you are looking for a great way to get involved and meet other women who love God, then you have come to the right place! Activities offered change depending on the desires of the group, so please come to Church to get connected.

student Ministries

If you are in grades 6th-12th join us on Wednesday night at 6:30 pm-7:45 pm.  Momentum gives students a great opportunity to connect with like-minded students to understand their faith, ask questions, meet new friends, and grow closer to Jesus.  Here we engage students through games, relevant teaching, and meaningful relationships.

We also have other hangout opportunities and opportunities for fundraising throughout the year so youth can participate in retreats and summer camp. Our Momentum Student Ministries Director and her team of adult leaders are committed to helping students navigate life and see the world through a Biblical, Christ-centered world view. They all currently have or have had teenagers themselves and are available as a resource for parents as well.

We invite Students to join us on Sundays as well for their Small Group Sunday School Class at 10am where they are divided into Jr. High and Sr. High groups. Sunday School classes happen year around. Our Wednesday Evening Youth Programs only occur October thru May during the school year.

Kids For Christ (K.F.C)

If you are in grades K-5th join us on Wednesday nights (October-May) from 6:30 pm-7:45 pm.  Kids For Christ gives children a chance to grow in their relationship with God with good friends.  Each week, to reinforce the Bible lesson, there may be: games, video clips, object lessons, memory verse, music, prizes, snacks, and more.

We also have opportunities for fundraising throughout the year so kids (3rd-5th grades) can participate in summer camp. Our KFC Director and her team of adult leaders are committed to helping students enjoy learning about God.

The safety of your children is important to us, therefore all of our adults go through an application process to work with kids. Also, Parents please plan to fill out an emergency contact/registration form the first time you drop your child off on Wednesday.

We invite our kids (& their families) to join us on Sundays as well for their Small Group Sunday School Class at 10am.  On Sundays for kids, we have nursery (birth thru 3 years),   Beginner Class (pre-K & K), Primary (1st-4th), as well as Jr. & Sr. High Sunday School classes that happen year around.  While your kids are enjoying their 10am Sunday Class, there is a Small Group Class for you too!

Foster Closet

Foster Closet provides clothing, underclothing, toys, shoes, baby equipment, and gear and in some cases furniture to children placed in the foster care system in State of Michigan. These items are new and like new items that have been donated to them. Children are often placed in foster care with no personal items and in many cases they come into care with only the clothes on their back. They provide these kids with new or like new clothes and personal items helping to begin the process of rebuilding their self-esteem and providing them with belongings they can call their own.

If you would like to get involved we are also accepting donations of clothing, underclothing, toys, shoes, baby equipment.  If you have any of these feel feel to drop them off at Oil City AG during business hours, or you can bring them on a Sunday Morning.
